Challenge

As manufacturing continuously gets more and more automated across the world, machine vision is becoming a vital part of the process. Machine vision: advanced, specialized and highly customized technical camera systems, is used to assure precise and constant quality and is a vast, growing field of innovation.The common procedure of such projects is:

  • 01 PLANING

    Sample customer parts are often times supplied with delay. Additionally, they frequently differ vastly from their brand-new counterparts. This makes more difficult to write specification sheets, make feasibilty studies, make calculation and the communication with the customer.

  • Optical components are frequently delivered with significant delays. Furthermore, image quality and properties can deviate strongly between fully assembled machine vision systems and a prototype constructions in laboratory conditions.

  • In almost any project, many iterations of the machine vision system are inevitable. All sorts of unexpected issues are frequently encountered during this phase.

  • Optimization is the most difficult to plan, as well as the potentially most expensive phase of such projects.

  • What does Medabsy offer?

    Medabsy offers a service in which Medabsy creates realistic images for you and creates digital twins for you to integrate into your digital factory. On the other hand, Medabsy develops a platform so that you can create digital twins of camera systems independently from us. This platform is still under development and will be released soon.

  • Machine vision system integrators, automation companies specialising in digital factory, digital twins and Industry 4.0 (or looking to expand into these areas).

  • Email us at info@medabsy.com and leave us enough contact information. We will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss the project. After you send us the 3D file, we will generate images for you and discuss the results with you.

  • We use Obj files. But you can send us Step-files or similar, as we will translate them into Obj-files. We also need information about the material of the customer's component, the production and the general conditions where the camera system is used. For this purpose, we will send you a pre-prepared questionnaire in advance, in which you can easily and quickly fill in and then send it to us.

    If you don't have these files, it's not a problem. There are other solutions! Contact us and we will tell you what other solutions are available.

  • There are many possibilities such as OPC-UA, TCP/IP etc. Email us at info@medabsy.com and we will contact you to explain how it works.

  • It depends on the project. At the moment we are working as a service provider. For a normal project we need 1-8 weeks.

  • We do our best to create realistic photos, but it depends on the amount of information you give us. The more information we have, the better the results. With enough information, we can create realistic images as if you were using a real system to create the photos

Let's discuss your project together. Our solution requires costumer parts (or other relevant parts) in step-file or obj-file format. OK as well as NOT-OK parts are helpful, but in many cases, we can generate NOT-OK parts too. We are aware that your data is highly sensitive. Data security is guaranteed and non-disclosure agreements are a central part of our business practise.

3. Results

Our experts will generate awesome images and send you extra information. Together we will discuss the results and plan the next steps. After completion of the projects, all of your data will be permanetly deleted from our database.
